January 2012

This bald Eagle was sighted on the shores of Little Muskego Lake.
He sits on a branch of this Oak tree, eyeing the Coots swimming below.
He returned almost daily sometimes accompanied by a mate.

Winter is Finally Here..........
The lake is frozen and a nice coating of fresh snow for all to go out and enjoy.
Many of us enjoy the lake just as much in the winter as we do the summer.
There are many lake activities so go out and adventure.
Some like to fish, some snow mobile, some just snow- shoe or
like a quiet walk on a moon lit night.
Some of us hold annual Golf outings…yes, golf on the ice.
Whatever it is just get out there and have fun.
Perhaps we could have a snow sculpting contest…let us know if you have any fun ideas we could enjoy with our lake neighbors.
